Romania is one of the countries which, if you visit, will offer you the time of your life! We are aware of the fact that our country is not promoted enough and that people around the world are having issues in discovering the beauties of Romania. Still, we won’t give up, because we know what a marvelous country we have, and we want to show it to everyone on the globe! This is one of the reasons the Museum of Romanian Records was born: to show the amazing things which hide inside Bucharest!

At the beginning of May 2017, our Museum was host for the largest project promoting Bucharest tourism that has ever been done: Experience Bucharest! We were proud to collaborate with the team who manages this project, because every member is guided by the passion of traveling. Experience Bucharest 2017 invited 100 top bloggers, vloggers, Instagrammers, Snapchatters and travel influencers from all over the world to discover some parts of Bucharest, which are hidden right in the heart of the city! Moreover, they had the chance to meet, talk and enjoy a drink with 100 Romanian content creators, which was a win-win situation for our people and for the foreigners.

It was great for the team of the Muzeul Recordurilor Româneşti® to connect with the travelers and to show them two of the largest collections in the whole world: The Corkscrew Collection and The Pressing Iron Collection. The looks on their faces when they saw over 30 000 corkscrews and over 35 000 pressing irons were priceless and we will cherish them along with those of every visitor, because the effect that the collections have on them is the same, every time!

After visiting the Muzeul Recordurilor Româneşti®, our guests had the chance to party on the rooftop of our building, while enjoying the breathtaking view over the city! Seeing the photos, we know they had an awesome time here and we are sure they will remember the day for years to come!

We like to think that Experience Bucharest 2017 was not only about promoting a city and a country, but also about promoting values and morals of the Romanians.

In the near future, the Muzeul Recordurilor Româneşti® will exhibit another collections, which we’ll announce on the website and on the social media platforms. If you want to share your impressions with us, you can always find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
